Downham Market & District Angling Association provides top-class coarse fishing in lake and drain venues in and around the picturesque town of Downham Market in the county of Norfolk. Situated between the gently rolling hills of West Norfolk and the imposing Fen flatlands, DM&DAA offers a variety of fishing in both landscapes.

Our venues comprise five lakes/ponds and one drain, all situated within a five mile radius of Downham Market.

You can fish a DMDAA water all year round, for only twelve pence a day!! This is fantastic value when you compare it with the cost of fishing a "commercial" which costs anything from £5 to £15 a day. The Clay Pit is stocked to a  level similar to that of a commercial, which makes a DM&DAA club ticket even more of a bargain! At Wallington Hall we have four fabulous estate lakes in a stunning setting. The club is improving them and each has its own character. The Cuckoo Drain is a beautiful place, loaded with quality fish.

As well as pleasure fishing, we have a  match scene, including a very active Over 50s section, and are particularly keen to encourage new members and younger members to join the club and enjoy fishing in a safe and friendly environment.

Fishing is open to members only (no day or guest tickets). Night fishing is not allowed. The season, on all waters, runs from May 1st, with the Cuckoo being subject to the EA Closed Season. However the Claypit is open from May 1st. and Wallington Hall is now open all year round.
