Claypit HappinessHere
are some lovely shots of 10 year-old Connor Britton and his recent
catches from the Claypit. Connor's delighted and Dad's proud, too:
Opening Day, June 16th 2009, and other Early Season PhotosThe
weather allowed for a perfect start to the season - here are some shots
taken at Wallington Hall. I heard that Gordon had a great start on Lake
2 getting stuck into the carp and tench. I was on Lake 3 and it was a
bit quieter, but here are some pictures from the first morning. Please
send some more in!

| A fine10lb carp from the Clay Pit, taken by Darron and Katrina Williams on July 20th - very skilfully on light tackle. Note the proper use of an unhooking mat - a great lesson for anyone wanting to fish for carp in our waters
